Lotsa travelling. Up at 05.00 Central Time, check in 06.15, 4 hour flight to Los Angeles, 3 hour changeover, 11 hour flight to Narita, collected by Tommy from Mr. Udo the promoter, then a 2 hour drive to the hotel. All the travelling was straightforward if extensive today.
Masa & Atsushi of Infini, Tets & Mr. Sato of Pony Canyon in the lobby to greet me, generous gifts of bean treats with them. One of these bean treats is from The Robert Fripp Fan Club in Japan. When the Fan Club originally wrote to me, in the early 1980s, I asked them to disband. But they function as a social club, with Fripp only an excuse to socialise & not the reason, so I am unable to object. Beautiful flowers and fruit are in the modernised & improved room waiting for me. The view from this room is out over the Japanese water garden & its plentiful coi and down towards Starbucks.
